Don't live in someone's shadow!

Is it not a shame that some people are not able to build a personal compelling brand; rather they live in the shadows of the good name(s) of their parents or relatives? They have nothing of their own to show. So what happens when the source of that shadow is no more? Hmmm. I want to be the source of a shadow which a lot of people will want to ride on. How about you?
